Intuition

5"x7" oil

Haven't painted in awhile for a multitude of reasons. Was finally able to empty my head and get into studio. I say empty my head because for me painting depends a lot on intuition. I had many flashes while doing this small piece. I'd like to say I'll remember them but I won't. The key will be to allow flashes in the next piece. "Minds are like parachutes, they only work when they are open".

This painting is indeed a flash. A flash out of the window of the Sprinter? It's a fine flash.

Btw, lucid flashing is probably overrated.

Hi Sam. This is a view from my recent trip with the 7 livelies that I decided to paint. Central PA. Yeah, I'd prefer a real flash but I take what I can get ;D

Thanks Casey. I admire your work. Your approach to presentation is quite nice also. Congrats on the Sausalito show!
