Zembo Mosque

8x8 oil/panel

Snuck out for a quick study. I was heading for Italian Lake but when I saw the Mosque bathed in light I knew I had to paint it. Beautiful day with spring colors. Yes, I pushed the pink a bit.

Quick study.... 8x8 panel not 8 foot then, this is a small 8" square painting , right? very beautiful. I love you loose style and th brush work. Also your color sense.

Hey Patti, great to hear from you!
I was lucky enough to get into the Carmel art festival this year. I'm going to stay in Salinas, it's so much cheaper. I've been checking your blog but haven't seen any posts in awhile. How's the writing going? I'll check again. I'm considering shipping frames, palette, easel etc... to California and might just ask for help from your relatives in Monterey if thats ok. Its been so long I can't remember who your relative was there. I'll check the old post.
Again,great to here from you!

p.s. yeah, it's 8"x8"
