So these are 2 pieces I've been working on. Both done after Moms' passing. I feel different now and the idea of thick juicy paint doesn't make sense currently. I wanted to apply thin paint and really scrub it into the panels. Perhaps getting the most out of what was left...........

These are lovely, Brian. Very bright, very clear, very open. I hope painting them made you feel good; seeing them makes me feel good.
Got the cows back from the framers. All together in one frame, they make a sweet piece. If you want, I'll send a photo to your screwy email. Lemme know.
Very nice, Brian.
I think it's so important to try to follow what one feels like doing artistically, even if it's different than before, even if it's different from the week or day or hour before.
By the way, I've seen your cows painting (at Sam's house) and it's great!
Thanks Sam. Painting has almost always been therapeutic for me and was in this case as well.
Yeah, I'd like to see the Jungian cows framed. Send me an email.
Thank you Jala. I'm always chasing my gut! Seems to be when good stuff happens.
p.s. I enjoy your grapefruit painting everyday while having breakfast.
Hi Brian,
Emotional times like this do change the way we look at art and in turn, paint. Allow your heart to guide you...
Indeed Loriann, Without art I don't know how I could deal with lifes issues. We are lucky to have discovered a form of expression that suits us.
