Cumulonimbus

It's pouring down freezing rain outside so I decided a summer scene was in order. I took a photo of a great cloud last summer. I was driving down rte. 283 and snapping photos out the passenger window at highway speed. Guard rails and trees obscured most of the pics but this one worked...I think..

Gorgeous painting, Brian. I love the feel of sweeping motion, like the clouds are really sailing across the sky, and that low horizon line is very effective. The stretch of warm green in the lower right really makes it for me.
Thanks Brian. Yeah, that was the sensation I got from the scene and tried to convey. The little stripe of sunlight was key to me as well.
