Schuylkill Bridge

8"x16" oil/linen panel

This is a scene of a bridge down by Philly that I've been itching to paint. It could easily be Harrisburg as we have so many bridges. They are always a challenge to paint. I'm trying these panels from Raphael but they don't compare to the sourcetek panels. The Raphael panels lack tooth. At least the ones I got. Sometimes I like a smooth surface but not lately.

Lovely bridge painting. The colors are wonderful.

It is a great a painting but I see the perfect opportunity for three trolls. See no troll, hear no troll, speak no troll.

Thanks Ruth. I enjoyed keeping the warmth in this piece.

Hi Michael. They're in the underpainting.
