dinner

5"x7" oil

A VERY rough sketch of a striped bass I had for dinner. I've seen so many others do fish very well. I like when you can see the sheen on the fish, however when "I" paint them I have little interest in that. In fact, I'm just now exploring the idea of painting fish. Yes, a shadow and more detail would make it sing. But I've played that song.

Sheeny or not, it's a very nice fish, o Bassmaster. I, too, have a fish story I can't.tell... a photo of a beautiful beached 15-inch parrot fish which I can't get out of this phone and into a post. Arg.

Very cool. I love the color harmony and the lusciousness of the paint.

I'm envious Sam. I'm always available as a house sitter...just so ya know... did you catch the fish? I'll bet a finger would be good bait...damn parrots. :0

Thanks Jala. I also answered the coffee question albeit in a coffee buzzed way:)
