More Spring

20"x24" oil/canvas

Continuing to paint over old work. I'm concentrating on colors seen throughout the day. Composition resonates in my unconscious.

I have a bunch of linen on birch panels coming that will be dedicated to plein air work. Light is lasting longer and I need to be in the elements.

It is interesting to see the old layers through the new glazes Brian. I missed your last three they each have their own quality and are saying something different with colour and mood. Beautiful works.

Thanks Debora. I like your work also. Are you familiar with Nicholas de Staels work? Hey ,I see you like Michael Hedges. I saw him perform a week before his passing. What a spirit he had!

This is excellent, Brian - you've really captured the light perfectly.
