20"x24" oil/linen

At first I included all the barn doors, windows, trees etc... that were in the scene. The more I looked the less I wanted. Turned out doing very slow controlled strokes of paint laden brushes. Totally the opposite of yesterdays piece. Of course,  leaves on the ground would hardly be painted slowly and controlled. The Thiebaud influence showed up here.

5"x7" oil

From yesterdays 4 footer to todays little one. They all have their challenges..... I smell cows a comin'

6"x6" oil

Little more dynamic with this one. I've let the paint do the describing. I want to do the same with the larger ones but as you can tell there is still work to do. Will do 2 more this size than a 16x20 with more energy.

Off to the Armonk outdoor art show. Last one of the season for me. Will finally be able to get back outside and paint as well as intense studio work.
